It is wonderful to have finally found an automation and audio/video company that knows what they're doing! The guys at Pure Sight & Sound revamped my home and business inside & out... with automation, surveillance, speakers, TV's, reprogramming, cleanup... basically fixing the wreckage and confusion left by several different companies large and small I've tried over the years (and thought I was saving money!). Then after fixing my systems to make them simple to use, Pure Sight & Sound patiently showed me how to operate everything, so now I can use the capabilities of my systems to the fullest. Pure Sight and Sound helped us with our living room transformation.
Our room presented several problems that PS&S resolved quickly for
us and allowed for us to conceal our Home Theatre equipment and
speakers, and yet easily make them available to us for use. PS&S
worked closely with us to help make our room the multi-purpose room
that we had imagined. In the end we got the system we were looking for.
It is really nice to have eliminated the speakers and all the wires
from the living space... In fact our
subwoofers are not only eliminated from the living space... they're
completely invisible! (My wife loves that touch.)

I obtained 3 estimates for my home theater and multi-room audio system
pre-wire before proceeding. Owner Ed Kmetz's expertise, (he is a member
of CEDIA) provided the best overall plan,design,insight, and value. He
was the only one who spent the time (1 1/2 hrs.) asking the right
questions on what I wanted to achieve and explained how he could
accomplish it! Also, because this was new construction, I needed to have
this job completed within a week before the dry wall was installed.
Once I agreed to his estimate, he was able to book me immediately and
completed the job on time. Now, I look forward to him completing the job
when I move in!

Dear Ed,
I want to take this opportunity to thank you for all of your help
in getting me set up with my new Anthony Gallo Home Theatre speaker
system. I found Pure Sight & Sound through the Gallo web sight
after doing much research to find a suitable and wife friendly speaker
system to replace my 30 year old 3 foot high "ugly monsters" (my wife's
words), that have been sitting in the basement since we got married 24
years ago.
You entertained all my questions over the phone, not once making
me feel rushed, until I was comfortable with the speakers we selected
to get me back into the Audiophile world I left unexpectedly decades
ago. She really hated my old speakers and it wasn't worth the fight to
bring them back out of the basement. You spent so much time with me on
the phone and made me feel so secure in my decision that I purchased
them sight unseen and you had them shipped to my house as your showroom
was over 2 hours away.
I am embarrassed to say that over 3 months has passed since I
received the speakers and I haven't had the time to finish the
installation. When I finally did, just the other day, I can't tell you
how disappointed I was to find out that the sub was not working. After
waiting over 24 years, it seems I would have to wait a little longer.
I called you in distress hoping you had a quick answer, as I was
fairly certain that I did everything right. I left a message on your
machine and shortly thereafter you returned the call. After a short
question and answer session and some research on my receiver model you
were able to determine that I may have connected the sub cable to the
wrong output, I did, and boy was I relieved when the gut shaking low
end finally made its belated appearance.
In my opinion you went above and beyond the call of duty to make a
sale and help me afterwords. I can tell that you really love this
stuff, and after hearing my story about my wife (although I got the
feeling it wasn't the first time you heard a similar story) it seemed
to become a personal mission to get me fixed up.
And one more thing about the speakers, I only listened to them for
one night and I didn't want to go to bed. I don't know what audiophile
term you want to give it, accuracy, definition, sound stage, or spatial
imaging but I swear that I could tell what row and seat some guy was in
(10th row 5 seats over) when he coughed during a live tv show in
Hi-Def. It was pleasant if not spooky experience. My dog is now going
over and barking at the speakers when he hears a certain noises, or if
a nature show is on and there are animal noises. I just watched "March
of the Penguins" in Blu-ray the other night and I got a little nervous
when my dog Buster (Jack Russell Terrier) started staring at the TV and
tilting his head, but he just watched with us. I'm sure dog scratches
on the screen are not covered under warranty.
I missed a lot over the last couple of decades, but it was well
worth the wait. It's true, absence makes the heart grow fonder. I
almost teared up when I put on my Pink Floyd CD (ok, I actually did)
something my wife will never understand. I wish I had a nickel for
every time she says "turn it down!". I know you understand that there
is a big difference between listening to music, and experiencing the
music.
I ended up putting the front speakers behind the thin drapery
material that I used to frame out the TV. It's not much thicker or
heavier then some speaker grille's I have seen, and it's worth it when
I ask my wife where the speakers are and she can't find them. So now we
are both happy, and all is right with the world. Well almost, the
economy is still in the ditch but hopefully that won't take 24 years to
fix.

professional. I purchased my sound equipment through them and had them
install the system in my home. The installation was great and my system sounds
awesome. What really blew me away was how I had an issue with a speaker I
purchased and Ed (owner) was a great go-between for me and the company. I
must say that kind of service goes a long way with me. I will be purchasing
